About
Work directly with Orlando Rivera.
I'm Orlando Rivera, an AWS-certified consultant based in Puerto Rico, United States. I help growing teams make better technology decisions, reduce operational and compliance risk, and automate repetitive work without losing control of how the business runs.
I started Rive after seeing the same problem repeat: teams knew they needed better cloud foundations and cleaner processes, but they didn't have the time or internal bandwidth to turn that into an executable plan.
My background is in the kind of work where architecture, security, and operations have to support each other from the start. I've helped teams shape AWS environments, implement security foundations aligned to regulatory requirements including HIPAA, SOC, and ISO, and introduce AI workflows with data boundaries and operating guardrails. When we talk, you're talking directly to the person evaluating the tradeoffs and helping implement the work.

Why This Matters
- You get direct answers and direct execution, not extra layers between strategy and delivery.
- Recommendations are shaped around risk, cost, reliability, and team capacity.
- The work is designed to hold up under day-to-day operations, not just look good in planning meetings.
Teams Bring Us In When
- Growth is exposing process gaps, ownership issues, or system friction.
- Risk, client requirements, or compliance expectations are getting harder to manage.
- Manual work is slowing down service delivery, finance, or internal operations.
What Teams Leave With
- A clearer plan for what to fix now and what can wait.
- Simpler workflows with less back-and-forth and more accountability.
- Documentation, priorities, and ownership the internal team can continue with.
